Unlike many agencies in the Hunter, we don't charge yearly management fees. Our income is generated by finding you work. We do not accept every applicant, but provide the best systems and opportunities to all talent on our books.
We encourage new talent to attend a professional practice workshop. The workshop covers professional practice basics - industry expectations, agency procedures, role preparation. It also enables us to assess your skills and potential so as to best manage your portfolio.
All talent are required to maintain an up to date profile and professional photographic portfolio throughout their representation with Models & Actors. Clients rely on the information and images you provide when selecting talent for jobs, by meeting this requirement you give yourself the best chance of securing work opportunities.
If you do not already have a portfolio of recent professional photos, we can recommend local photographers who can facilitate this for you. We also hold regular theme based photo shoots providing images aimed at securing more specific roles or work in a particular industry or sector.
In order to keep your details current we provide you direct access to your profile via the website. You can quickly and easily view your current profile and availability, make changes, add new images and have these instantly applied and uploaded.
Our SMS and web based systems also make it quicker and easier for clients to be matched with suitable talent. You will be automatically notified by text of every job opportunity matching your profile. If you are interested and available simply reply to the text and your details will be forwarded to the client for their consideration.
You can also access your bookings and payments online. The system makes it clear what you will be paid for each job, when payment has been made, and what the usage rights, fees and expiry dates are for each job.
If you are seeking work in the Sydney or National markets, you can elect to be listed by us in the eCaster directory. A fee of $100 per year is applicable.
If you would like to join M&A, you will need to fill in an application form and nominate the introductory workshop you would like to attend.
